Template:Delete/doc

Description

This template is used to mark pages for deletion, categorizing them in Category:Candidates for deletion.

Syntax

Type {{delete|<reason for deletion>}} on the page to be deleted.

In most cases, add the template at the very top of the page. The only exception to this is when requesting to delete redirect, where you should add the template below the redirect so as not to delete the redirection until the page is finally deleted.
